1. Ownership & Copyright

All music, recordings, lyrics, chord charts, artwork, logos, text, and other content on this site are the property of ExTenebris and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights are reserved except as expressly granted in these terms.

2. Multitrack & Stem Downloads

We make multitrack files (“Multitracks”) available for download free of charge to support churches, worship teams, and bands. Free does not mean transferred. Making Multitracks available at no cost does not transfer ownership, copyright, or any other rights to you. ExTenebris retains full ownership and copyright in all Multitracks and in the underlying songs and recordings.

Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the Multitracks for live performance only, such as worship services, concerts, and rehearsals for those performances.

You may not:

• remix, re-edit, re-master, sample, or otherwise create derivative works from the Multitracks for release or distribution;
• release, upload, stream, sell, or distribute the Multitracks, or any recording made from them, under a different artist name or as a different song or title;
• claim authorship or ownership of the Multitracks or the songs they contain;
• redistribute, share, host, or resell the Multitrack files themselves, whether free or for payment;
• use the Multitracks to train, fine-tune, or evaluate machine-learning or AI models, or to generate synthetic voices or music;
• use the Multitracks in a way that misrepresents ExTenebris or its message.

Live performances may be streamed or recorded as part of a service or event, provided the performance is of the song as written and credited to ExTenebris. Separate permission is required for commercial recordings or releases of any kind. Performance of these songs in public may also be subject to licensing obligations (for example, CCLI or performing rights organization licenses) that remain your responsibility.

If you breach this section, your license ends immediately and you must delete all copies of the Multitracks. We reserve the right to pursue any remedies available under law.

3. Other Downloads & Personal Use

MP3s, lyrics, and chord charts are provided for personal, non-commercial listening, worship, and study. You may not redistribute or sell them, or present them as your own work.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the site, including attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with its operation, scraping it at a rate that burdens the service, or circumventing download limits or access controls.

5. Third-Party Links

This site links to third-party services such as streaming platforms and social networks. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that files will be free of defects or suitable for your equipment or purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ExTenebris and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or the content, including loss of data, equipment damage, or lost profits.

8. Privacy

Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. The “last updated” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
